An aromatic plant, Rosemary has been used for centuries by the Egyptians and Romans. The botanical name Rosmarinus, can be translated to the “the dew of the sea”.  Rosemary is referred to in many great examples of western literature as an herb with a great mythology and folklore as an herb associated with memory and it is used in funerals, religious and martial celebrations as a symbol of fidelity and to purify the air.

Rosemary is fairly resistant to most pests and plant diseases, it is also a powerful antioxidant.
